Quality Control Representative

Position Overview

As a Quality Control Representative, you’ll play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of our appraisal process. You’ll be responsible for reviewing completed appraisals for accuracy, compliance, and completeness before delivery to clients. Your attention to detail and ability to uphold industry standards will ensure that every report reflects our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review appraisal reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards.
  • Verify that all required documentation and data are included in each report.
  • Communicate with appraisers regarding necessary revisions or clarifications. Document quality control findings and track recurring issues to recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of compliant appraisal reports.
  • Stay current with appraisal industry guidelines, regulations, and best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in quality control, appraisal review, mortgage, or financial services (appraisal industry experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards and industry regulations
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and appraisal/order management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
