We were founded with appraising and lending backgrounds.

All AmeriMac team members either have appraisal experience or have worked for mortgage companies. Chris Roteff, CEO, and Zac Swartz, COO, have a combined 41 years of direct appraising and lending experience, providing perspectives from both sides of the process.

We provide accurate, compliant appraisals the first time.

We check every appraisal before it is submitted and request changes to the appraiser if we see issues before approving the appraisal for lender review.

We use a 63-point checklist for quality control.

Every appraisal is reviewed with a 63-point checklist for completeness and compliance by a team member who knows what lenders need from their appraisals. If something doesn't seem right, we find out why and correct it- quickly.

Our depth of appraiser panel ensures capacity and coverage.

We have an extensive appraiser panel in all 50 states. This means we can ensure coverage, can handle any capacity at any time, and even accommodate weekend and rush orders.

We average a 7.5-day turn-time.

Speed is vital when it comes to the appraisal management process. Our turn-times range between seven and nine days. When we hand-select an appraiser for your order, an important criteria they are required to meet is our turn-time.

Our appraisers know the appraisal geography and understand the importance of accurate comps.

We understand that comp proximity is key to getting a more accurate appraisal. Many AMC’s autogenerate an appraisal request to random appraisers in the area. We hand-select our appraisal panel based on their knowledge of the area, history of pulling accurate comps, and record of revisions.

We charge a flat fee with no increase on 98% of our orders.

We understand lenders’ frustrations when an AMC upcharges the appraisal fee for a non-unique property. We believe in minimizing issues first and maximizing profits second. For 98% of our orders, we do not increase fees after our initial quote to the lender, even if the appraiser increases that fee mid-process.

We address issues immediately.

In the rare instance there's an issue, we're involved and you're informed. Any AMC can be good when things go right. The key is how a company acts when things go wrong. We excel in both situations.

We remove the loan officer from the collection process.

Our advanced system is set up to process the appraisal payment directly from the buyer.  This way, we remove the loan officer from the collection process.
